Sometimes,
we make choices we can never take back. Not because we do not want to, but
because we cannot.
She falls
into the old trap called “I am in love with a married man“. He is the type of
man who “loves his wife, as long as he is under the heel of her shoe“. She
loves him too much. He loves her more than he hates her.
And how
could they put the pieces together to create a whole picture, when they do not
even seem to manage to take a selfie together?
The author
asks a lot of questions in her novel – about the significance of being
unfaithful and the price which the people involved in it have to pay; about the
truth behind the lies and if there is worth to leading a double life; about
dilemmas and suffering; about the value of every sinful moment, as long as you
can spend it with the person you love.
And is it
true that love in pieces lasts longer than love which is legally bound?
The male character would
put it: “Our way is the right way. Had we been together, we would have split a
long time ago”.
